We have consistent systems in place to ensure the children are safe, and to promote their emotional well-being. Every school has a senior member of staff who is responsible for child protection matters affecting pupils at the school (the ‘Designated Safeguarding Lead’). In our school, this is;
Designated Safeguarding Lead: Miss Rachael Brotherton
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead: Mrs Sallie Boyd
Nominated Governor for Child Protection: Mrs Nina Jackson
All schools have a legal duty to work with other agencies, to safeguard children’s welfare. The leaflets below will tell you more about where you can get more help or information.
